Burglaries and Scams
Two men knocked on a door off Slades Hill, and when the door was opened they rushed in and demanded money from the resident.
Four men attempted a burglary on The Ridgeway but ran off after triggering an alarm.
There was also an attempted burglary near the Jolly Farmer public house.
Two men knocked on a door in Cheyne Walk and told the resident they have a loose roof tile and they could fix it for £20. They put up a ladder, climbed on to the roof, then informed the resident there were several tiles requiring fixing/replacing at a cost of £450. The resident told them she would have to consult per partner, and the men have not returned.
Vehicle Crime
Between 8th and 12th February a catalytic converter was stolen from a Toyota Prius parked at Tower Point in Sydney Road.
